WEEK 1
Hey Family! Hope everyone is having fun so far. It's been quite the adventure for Shaun and I so far. We're learning how to make small changes to help us be healthier. Some great helps have been Zonya.com and her health bites. Having each other has been another big help. My sister sent me a link to the coolest podcast. It's called the COUCH TO 5K IN 9 WEEKS. So we're going to do it. My mom and sister are also doing it too, so that's kind of fun, cause we're out of shape on that side too. Anyway that link is http://www.ullery.com/robert/Podcasts/index.html It goes week by week and tells you what to do. Someday I want to run a 10K also and Shaun would like to do a marathon. Hey this is really fun! I will have to check out that web site for the 5K.
ReplyDeleteAnother site that I have found and think that I am going to like is sparkpeople.com.
It lets you put in what food you have eaten and keeps track of what you have eaten with regards to protein, water, carbs, etc. Try it out if you would like!
I lost 7 pounds, which is nothing compared to a girl in my group at the gym. She lost 18 pounds in 1 week. I am sure that she was carrying weights under her shirt the first week or something! Maybe she had a baby, oh well. We are in this for the health not the prizes right?!
