Talking to Yourself
So, I thought it was just me, but apparently, Jodi talks to herself too! I just keep giggling with every new post by "Jodi" about her weightloss. Except, she gives herself different names - like Dad, Amy & Mom (well, she is a mom though) - and posts that make you assume it's not her... "really".
Ok, ok, I probably sound so silly! But, I'm pregnant, have 3 young kids and another kid called a "husband" - so my life has to have some silliness to it, right? LOL!!! :-)

Amy 1.32% week of 2/17/09-2/24/09
Sorry I've been late on posting! Kind of been busy with a bunch of homework and forgot to post! :)
I lost 2.4 lbs this week for a 1.32 % weight loss (or weight gotten rid of!). :)
I hope I calculated that right. It is the weight you loss divided by the weight you were last week right? (and then times by 100)....

Could you add the math equation for figuring out the percentage as a "gadget"?
Also, I was wondering if mom & dad would care if we had a "gadget" w/ the account number listed (perhaps w/ a clickable link to AFCU)?

Brian's Loss
Brian went down 1.2 lbs. Hmm, math... it's 10:15 pm and I want to go snuggle w/ Brian. I'll do the math later - or if dad gets bored... :-P LOL!

WEEK 1
Hey Family! Hope everyone is having fun so far. It's been quite the adventure for Shaun and I so far. We're learning how to make small changes to help us be healthier. Some great helps have been Zonya.com and her health bites. Having each other has been another big help. My sister sent me a link to the coolest podcast. It's called the COUCH TO 5K IN 9 WEEKS. So we're going to do it. My mom and sister are also doing it too, so that's kind of fun, cause we're out of shape on that side too. Anyway that link is http://www.ullery.com/robert/Podcasts/index.html It goes week by week and tells you what to do. Someday I want to run a 10K also and Shaun would like to do a marathon. PLAN OF ACTION:
Weigh every Tuesday at the same time, and post percentage of unhealthiness that you have accomplished to get rid of.
Post percentage on this blogspot for all to admire.
Be proud of your accomplishments.
Feel free to post feelings, struggles, and concerns. Or just call and talk to one of us.
Put $5 bucks in the "pot" every week. The person with the highest percentage every week will get half of the pot. The other
half will be put in the "GRAND POT" and given to the Ultimate One who has gotten rid of the highest percentage of weight.
Challenge will be running from February 3rd to May 5th

FORMULA FOR WEIGHT %:
subtract current weeks weight from previous weeks weight (e.g. 200 lbs - 195 lbs = 5)
divide by previous weeks weight (e.g. 5 lbs/ 200 lbs =2.5%)
